Soara and the House of Monsters TV Anime Announced for 2027, First Trailer and Main Cast Revealed
Hidenori Yamaji’s fantasy manga Soara and the House of Monsters is officially getting a TV anime adaptation, with the release date set for 2027. The announcement was made with an ultra teaser visual, the first teaser trailer, and the reveal of the anime’s main cast and staff. Studio FelixFilm is in charge of the animation.
The series will star Ikumi Hasegawa as protagonist Soara and Ayumu Murase as the dwarf architect Kiriku. The teaser features both the characters and their voices, and you can check it out below.
Based on the manga serialized on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry, Soara and the House of Monsters follows Soara, a young girl raised solely to fight monsters. Just before her first battle, however, the war comes to an end, leaving her without a purpose. During her travels, she encounters Kiriku and a group of dwarf architects who build dream homes for monsters, setting her on an unexpected journey that gradually changes her outlook on life.
Yamaji also shared a commemorative illustration and thanked readers for supporting the manga, adding that watching the anime staff build the project together reminded him of Soara and Kiriku working side by side to construct homes. He said the collaborative effort has convinced him the adaptation will become a wonderful “house” in its own right.
The latest volume of the manga, Volume 7, is scheduled to release in Japan on August 10.
